Sony Ericsson Z525 and W700 announced
Sony Ericsson today announced two new phones: the Z525, a push-to-talk upgrade to the popular Z520 and the W700, the 8th Walkman® phone from Sony Ericsson.

Z525 – Features at a glance:
• Network: GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
• Display: Internal display: 128x160 pixels, 65K colors, 1.8” TFT display; External display: 80x101 pixels, 4K colors
• Camera: VGA, with 4x digital zoom, video recording
• Memory: 16 MB user memory
• Other features:
- WAP 2.0
- SMS, MMS and standard POP/IMAP4 Email, Instant Messaging
- Push-to-talk
- Video streaming and playback
- 40 tone polyphonic ringer
- Java applications, 3D Games
- Bluetooth®, IrDA, USB support, SyncML
- Style-Upâ„¢ covers
The Z525 is a stylish clamshell which works worldwide. It will be available in New Blue and starts shipping during Q2 2006.

W700 – Features at a glance:
• Network: GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 Mhz
• Dispaly: 176x220 pixels, 262K colour display, 1.8” TFT display
• Camera: 2 Megapixel camera, 4x digital zoom, video recording
• Memory: Expandable Memory Stick Duo slot
• Other features:
- Walkman® player; Supports MP3, AAC
- WAP 2.0 XHTML
- SMS, MMS, E-mail, Instant messaging
- Video playback / Video streaming; Supports 3GPP and MPEG-4
- FM radio with RDS
- Java MIDP 2.0, 2D and 3D gaming

- Bluetooth 2.0, IrDA, USB 2.0 mass storage

The W700 will ship globally during Q2 2006 and be available in Titanium Gold. A Smooth White colour variant will be available in some markets.
